This data article presents a rich original experimental video sources and wide collections of laboratory on water levels, sediment depths wave front celerity values arose from different multiphase dam-break scenarios. The required shock waves in highly silted-up reservoirs with various initial up- down-stream hydraulic conditions is obtained directly high-quality videos. multi-layer were recorded by three professional cameras mounted along the channel. extracted images rigorously scrutinized, datasets through via image processing method. Different upstream reservoir dry- or wet-bed downstream considered as conditions, compromising total 32 A 198 videos are made available online public repository “Mendeley Data” 8 groups based [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8]. 20 locations flume 15 time snaps after dam breaks for collecting.
